Hebrews 11 shows examples of people in history who were blessed by God. Psalms 111:4-5 says that He has made wonder works to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and full of compassion. He has given food to those who fear him; He will be mindful of his covenant.
Philippians 4:19-But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by
Christ Jesus. A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”
(Proverbs 16:9) 1 Peter 5:7 says "cast all my anxieties aside, God cares for me."
2011- It is hard to find faith in God that He will provide financial relief or security. He has provided community in Chicagoland to encourage me to be faithful, offer wisdom and prayer support for job search. There is much anxiety about paying mortgage and bills. My unemployment income has run out and I have not been able to find work. I am learning to surrender to God in this area and patience that He will provide the right opportunity to meet financial needs. I was fortunate enough to receive modification to keep me in my home for 6 months, but fear I may to sell the property for a price than what I owe. I did lose seven pounds in exercising. I went camping and canoeing as well in Galena to see God’s creation. I am going back to school to become a PC technician in taking class to prepare for A+ and Network+ certifications. I relearned HTML and build new skills in Word and Excel 2007.
2012- God has answered my prayers. I did get a trial modification with my mortgage and
government is helping pay some bills. My family has provided extra income. The income varies each week from that delivery driver job. God provides and I need to be thankful of what he provides. There is some frustration with heat and traffic, but I still do it. I am praying for a full-time job with more
additional income for housing needs and health insurance. I know God has a plan and is sovereign in my quest for a job with a stable and sufficient income. I am sending applications and getting interviews.
God did provide work for me. I got to try new roles and learn new skills. It says in Deuteronomy 8:18
"But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today."
2014-16- I did get an additional job as a package handler at FedEx Ground for 2 hours a day to earn some extra money. 2015- I got some work as a Material Handler at Insight for 2 months.
2016- I completed 8 moths of work as a shipping and mailroom specialist at Ricoh in Schaumburg
April, 2017- I got one month of assignments in UPS in Carol Stream and mailroom in Elmhust.
I worked three assignments in June and July including a 5 week position with Milwaukee Tools.
August 23, 2017- I started a new assignment as a material handler at Insight. I worked there for at least 5 to 6 months. In 2018, I worked for four months as a temporary shipping/mail clerk
for Ricoh at CVS site in Northbrook,IL. It does concern me that it is expensive to learn skills via school and employers can be selective. I am praying about relearning skills. This year, I completed 12 programming certificate in languages such as Python, ruby, swift 4, C#, JavaScript on Sololearn. I also started a business via ShareASale where I tried to promote merchants on this website. I have worked short assignments(two days) and got some interviews in September,
